Welcome to Act Track. This is where you can find information about Legislation activities for the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program. Important Action Alert Stop LC-971 ! Stop their Power Grab that Kills Patients. Hello everyone, It’s going to be a busy year. There are already 3 bad pieces of legislation in the works and more coming in regards to the OMMP program. None of the proposed legislation protects us. In fact, some like LC 971 are written to take away our gardens and rights under the current OMMP. Therefore Stoney Girl Gardens is on a fastrack to produce language that works for us. Introducing SGG Safe Access Language. Quick Links: Stoney Girl Gardens Safe Access Points and Production Licensing LC 971 Safe Access by Don, Sarah of Human Collective and Andy Olson PTSD 3 Bills now on the books for 2013 Special Note: NONE of the writings we have seen addresses the basic problem of supply and demand. All of these proposals throw us into the same old clouded structure to allow Leo to shut us down and DAs to prosecute at will. There is no definition of reimbursement and no attempt to get rid of it on the commercial production scale. We have seen the same old language of compromises being passed around since written in 2008 with only lengthy additions. It is 5 years later and we need to get up to speed. The proposal we are presenting is one we and our patients can get behind. It moves us a step forward without tons of old compromise. It is an example of how er can address many concerns in a few words. Please note that we are able to address many items in less than a page! Lets move forward towards progress, not backpedal to some compromise written for a period 5 years ago.
